Position Overview: As a Breakfast & Lunch Cook, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests start their day with delicious and satisfying breakfast options. Your culinary skills, attention to detail, and passion for creating exceptional breakfast dishes will contribute to a positive dining experience and set the tone for our guests’ day.

Key Responsibilities:

Menu Planning and Preparation:

·        Create and develop breakfast menu items that cater to a diverse range of preferences, dietary restrictions, and nutritional requirements.

·        Prepare a variety of breakfast dishes, including eggs, pancakes, waffles, pastries, breakfast meats, and sides.

·        Execute recipes consistently, ensuring the highest standards of presentation and quality.

·        Cooking and Presentation:

·        Cook and assemble breakfast dishes according to established recipes and guidelines.

·        Monitor food preparation to ensure timely and accurate service, maintaining proper food temperatures and quality.

·        Plate and garnish dishes to enhance their visual appeal and overall dining experience.

Kitchen Operations:

·        Maintain a clean and organized workstation, following food safety and sanitation protocols.

·        Assist in ordering and managing inventory to ensure availability of fresh ingredients and minimize waste.

·        Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations during busy breakfast hours.

·        Quality Control:

·        Taste and inspect dishes before they are served to ensure they meet quality standards.

·        Address any customer feedback or concerns related to breakfast items promptly and professionally.

Collaboration:

·        Communicate effectively with the front-of-house staff to coordinate orders and ensure efficient service.

·        Collaborate with the culinary team to exchange ideas, share feedback, and contribute to the improvement of breakfast offerings.

Adaptability:

·        Be flexible and capable of multitasking to handle different breakfast orders simultaneously.

·        Adapt recipes and techniques to accommodate dietary restrictions and special requests.

Cleanliness and Safety:

·        Adhere to all safety and sanitation guidelines, maintaining a clean and hygienic kitchen environment.

·        Follow proper procedures for handling, storing, and disposing of food items.

Qualifications:

·        Proven experience as a Breakfast Cook or in a similar culinary role.

·        In-depth knowledge of breakfast cuisine, cooking techniques, and flavor profiles.

·        Familiarity with various breakfast equipment, such as griddles, ovens, and stovetops.

·        Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage time effectively.

·        Strong attention to detail and dedication to delivering high-quality dishes.

·        Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

·        Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.

·        Culinary degree or relevant certifications are a plus.

Working Conditions:
