Overview
Since 1960 Noxious Vegetation Control has been providing contract applicators primarily in the utility industry, also provides brush and weed management to numerous land managers. We are looking for dependable applicators with good driving records to join our team. Our company will provide all training and assist any employee interested in developing into a crew leader/foreman. Prior experience or ex-military looking for a new challenge is helpful but will train highly motivated individuals. If you enjoy working outdoors and hard work, then we encourage you to apply!
Job Description:
Herbicide Application
Pesticide license and ALL training
Working in team with our Helicopter Applicator crews on buffers.
Property Owner relations
Utilizing GIS Data and mapping
Job Requirements:
Overnight travel. Motels and per diem are additional benefits
Learning to ID woody vegetation for selective treatments
Extensive OT during growing season.
Ability to lift over 50 pounds
Seasonal work. During winter months some work is available doing dormant stem treatments.
Job Type: Seasonal, anticipate 400-hour overtime during growing season.
Salary: $14.00 /hour for first year trainees. Seasoned pesticide applicators with current driver license can anticipate higher hourly rate dependent on years of experience.
