In this Forklift Operator position, you will be running industrial forklifts to control the flow of raw and finished materials to and from the manufacturing lines in order to ensure that the production process is maximized. This means that you will responsible for ensuring that the production line always has raw materials in front of it, that the finished product at the end of the line is removed safely and quickly so as not to slow down production, and that all inventory is organized to maximize efficiency.

The work environment is fast-paced and over time a high level of expertise can be developed along with the ability to spot and correct errors. Ideal candidates will have a strong sense of safety and the ability to perform all tasks in a safe, proficient manner, while understanding the importance of delivering a high quality, finished product.

 

We currently have positions open on our Night Shift 4pm – 12am Monday – Friday.

 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Operate forklifts in a safe and responsible manner that abides by all company procedures and OSHA standards
Maintain equipment through daily inspections and cleanliness
Load/unload production lines and machines
Transport and stack forms
Inspect finished products for quality related issues
Package, label, and transport finished products
Change forklift batteries
Learn and perform other production related duties as needed

Education and Experience

Preferred experience includes a minimum of 2 years forklift driving, experience working in a manufacturing environment, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
