Overview
We are seeking experienced HVAC/R technicians. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in HVAC/R systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair of refrigeration and plumbing systems.
Duties
-Install, maintain, and repair HVAC/R systems, including air conditioning, refrigeration, and heating units.
-Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with HVAC/R equipment using schematics and technical manuals.
-Perform routine maintenance checks on HVAC/R systems to ensure efficient operation.
-Conduct repairs on plumbing systems related to HVAC/R installations.
-Utilize tools such as ohmmeters and welding equipment for repairs and installations.
-Collaborate with other technicians on complex projects involving HVAC/R design and implementation.
-Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs performed and parts used.
-Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their HVAC/R needs.
-Ensure compliance with safety regulations while performing all duties.
Qualifications
-Proven experience as a service technician in the HVAC field or related areas such as construction or property maintenance.
-Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in equipment repair and appliance repair.
-Familiarity with ammonia refrigeration systems is a plus.
-Ability to read and interpret schematics for troubleshooting purposes.
-Experience in field service roles.
-Knowledge of boiler systems and general maintenance practices is beneficial.
-Valid driver’s license.
-Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this role.
-HVAC/R degree and/or certifications are preferred.
