FightCybercrime is a nonprofit organization dedicated to educating and empowering individuals to recognize, report, and recover from cybercrime, scams and fraud. We provide resources and support to help people stay safer online.

Position Overview
We are looking for a Marketing Assistant to support our Marketing Director in executing campaigns, creating content and increasing engagement across digital platforms. This role is ideal for someone passionate about digital marketing, nonprofit advocacy, and/or cybersecurity.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and scheduling social media content for Instagram, LinkedIn, and Facebook.
• Support email marketing efforts, including drafting newsletters and campaign updates.
• Help manage website updates and optimize content for SEO.
• Conduct research on cybercrime trends to inform marketing efforts.
• Track and analyze engagement metrics to measure campaign effectiveness.
• Assist in the creation of marketing materials such as graphics, blog posts, and reports.
• Support outreach efforts to media, influencers, and potential corporate sponsors.
• Provide general marketing and administrative support as needed.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in marketing, communications, or related field.
• Strong writing, editing, and communication skills.
• Familiarity with social media management and digital marketing tools.
• Basic knowledge of email marketing and analytics.
• General awareness of SEO best practices.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
• Open to trying new tools, strategies, and tactics as digital marketing evolves.
• Ability to think outside the box, contribute ideas, and take feedback.
• Interest in nonprofit marketing is a plus.
