Job Summary
Elite Connector is seeking a skilled Mill or LAthe Machinist for the EVENING SHIFT (5pm-3:30am) to join a dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in machining and the ability to operate CNC machines with precision as well as completing basic maintenance. This role involves fabricating components, setting up and operating milling machines, and utilizing various power tools.
Responsibilities
Set up and operate CNC machines, including milling machines, to fabricate parts according to specifications.
Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to determine machining requirements.
Conduct regular maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance.
Use bore gauges and other measuring tools to inspect finished products for accuracy and quality.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols.
Requirements
High School degree or equivalent
Proven experience as a CNC Mill or Lathe Machinist with a strong understanding of machining processes and set-up + operation.
Proficiency in set-up and operation of a horizontal and vertical CNC Mill or Lathe equipment.
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read blueprints.
Familiar with Fanuc controls and concepts of lean manufacturing.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Excellent problem-solving skills and a commitment to quality workmanship.
Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
