AIFD is a two dentist general dental practice searching for a motivated registered dental hygienist who is looking for a career home in Traverse City, Michigan, to work full time Monday-Thursday. Must be a reliable, team player with good communication skills, detail oriented, and able to multi-task. This is a paperless office using Dentrix dental software and DEXIS digital x-rays. Requirements:
RDH license
Current CPR Certification
Current OSHA/HIPAA training
Responsibilities include:
Update patient health history
Take x-rays
Charting existing dental restorations
Complete periodontal charting annually
Perform prophylaxes – 60 min.
Perform periodontal therapy
Apply sealants
Presentation of initial findings and recommended periodontal treatment
Confidently answer patient questions regarding any necessary treatment
Enter treatment performed and treatment plans in the Dentrix chart
Give oral hygiene instructions
Assist in recare scheduling
Sterilize instruments
Follow strict safety & disinfection protocol
Office hours:
Mon: 8:00-4:00
Tues: 8:00-5:00
Wed: 8:00-5:00
Thurs: 8:00-4:00
Lunch from 1-2pm
Must be able to arrive at 7:30am.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45.00 – $50.00 per hour
License/Certification:
Registered Dental Hygienist license (Required)
