Starting Pay Rate:
$16 to 18 Hourly (pay rate is based on prior experience)

COLA added after 90 days ($2.10) Pay Increase

Qualifications:
• A customer-focused attitude, courteous, efficient, helpful, and accurate.
• A professional appearance.
• High school diploma or higher.
• College Degree or in continuance of receiving degree in Business or Accounting Majors
• Cash handling experience.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• Exceptional time management, communication, and customer service skills.
• Bondability-(Able to be bonded and the ability to pass a background check.)
• COVID-19 Vaccinated (We have selected to require all employees and members of the Board of Directors to be vaccinated.)

Job Description

We are looking for a motivated, friendly, dependable teller to process all transactions accurately and efficiently in accordance with established policies and procedures. The successful candidate will be the “frontline” of our credit union and will play a fundamental role in achieving our member satisfaction. You must be comfortable with communicating with different types of members and performing financial transactions such as cash withdrawals, deposits, transfers, loan payments, balance daily transactions and cash drawer. You must be comfortable with explaining & promoting credit union products and services.

Essential Job Functions
• Conduct credit union’s routine transactions (cash checks, accept deposits and loan payments, process withdrawals etc.)
• Assess customer needs and introduce new products and services (credit cards, certificate of deposits, etc.)
• Cross-sell products and services
• Go the “extra mile” to build trust relationships, customer loyalty and satisfaction
• Manage risk in every transaction and detect fraudulent transactions to prevent losses
• Resolve customers’ issues and provide relevant information
