Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregiver to provide personalized care to clients in their homes. The ideal candidate will have experience in various healthcare settings and be committed to enhancing the quality of life for individuals requiring assistance. This role involves supporting clients with daily activities, ensuring their safety, and promoting their independence.
Duties
Assist clients with personal hygiene, grooming, and bathing
Help with meal preparation and nutritional needs
Provide companionship and emotional support
Medication reminders
Assist with mobility and physical therapy exercises
Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients
Document care provided and report any changes in client condition to team
Collaborate with family members and supervisor to ensure comprehensive care
Experience
Candidates should possess experience or familiarity in the following areas:
Dementia and Alzheimers
Hoyer lift and assistive devices
Medical terminology preferred
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
Empathy, patience ,and a genuine desire to help others are essential traits
