Job Title: Manufacturing Supervisor

Summary
The purpose of this role is to manage and lead manufacturing of turbine aircraft engine and power generation parts within a value stream and to ensure safety, quality, and delivery according to Moeller Aerospace standards and procedures.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Manages labor and machine capacity to obtain expected throughput, costs, quality, and schedules adherence.
- Organizes and assigns work (labor, machines), utilizing available skills, knowledge, experience, and machine manufacturing strategies.
- Fosters teamwork and builds/maintains effective teams.
- Ensures availability of machine capacity by pro-actively addressing fixture and/or machine problems or areas of opportunities to improve.
- Provides systematic onboarding procedure, continuous training, and cross-qualification to develop and maintain expert skill levels, holds people accountable to follow instruction, and preferably can provide technical guidance.
- Keeps up to date documentation.
- Maintains and improves commodity KPIs.
- Accountable for booking accuracy and Tier 1 boards.
- Leads continuous improvement efforts such as Kaizen events, Machine TPM, and 5S initiatives.
- Supports other departments with increasing efficiency, cost reduction, new tooling and methods, capacity planning, scheduling, machine repairing, and maintenance.
- Works closely with the planning team regarding scheduling, balancing of demand vs capacity, prioritization, raw material demand, and outside vendor processes.
- Maintains conformance with Moeller Aerospace employee and safety rules and regulations, issues policy violation warnings, and administers approved disciplinary measures when necessary.
- Ensures effective set-up procedures.

Requirements
- Demonstrated leadership experience.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Teams.
- Proficiency with ERP software (Syteline).
- Ability to perform basic shop math functions.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Must be able to regularly lift up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time in a manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of quality standards such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, AS 9100, etc.
Education and/or Experience
· Associates/Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
