Working Hours 
1st shift: Monday – Thursday, 6:30am – 5:00pm

Summary
To perform various tasks within the maintenance department including troubleshooting, repair of different types of machinery, cleaning of common areas in the building and miscellaneous janitorial duties to maintain a safe work environment, safe operation of machinery and other duties as requested by the Manufacturing Engineer.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities 
Repair and maintain as noted above by abiding all OSHA regulations, company safety policies and procedures and by using common sense when working around or involved in a potentially unsafe condition. To report such conditions as soon as such condition is known to supervisors and/or the safety director
Utilize your knowledge of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems to properly troubleshoot and repair equipment and facility issues
Repair and replace broken or malfunctioning components of machinery and equipment
Examine parts for defects such as breakage and excessive wear
Reassemble equipment after completion of inspections, testing, or repairs
Observe and test the operation of machinery and equipment in order to diagnose malfunctions, using various testing devices
Work with CNC control systems including servo drives and motors troubleshooting and input/output/communications
Clean, lubricate, and adjust parts, equipment, and machinery
Perform preventative maintenance as laid out on check sheets
To be dependable and reliable, to report to work on time each day. To maintain a good work record. To be consistently professional and work without close supervision
Must be able to operate and maintain floor scrubber
Must have or be able to get and maintain a valid fork truck license
Other duties may be assigned at any time

Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or one to three months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum of 30 days on the job training.
Good knowledge of buildings, loading docks, truck wells, entrances, security situations
Any other duties, educational or training as assigned and directed by supervisor/manager
