Essential Duties and Responsibilities
– Operate CNC equipment as necessary to produce the required number of conforming parts in a timely manner according to process documentation. This will include operating multiple pieces of CNC equipment simultaneously.
– The ability to correctly setup jobs in assigned equipment in a timely manner is a plus, but not required.
– Perform first piece, in-process and last piece inspection using micrometers, calipers, comparators, various gauges and CMM equipment according to process documentation.
– Perform data collection and communication tasks as directed in our eOVL.
– Perform operator maintenance (TPM).
– Diagnose and correct equipment or tool issues.
– Perform deburr or rework of work in-process.
– Make recommendations to optimize and improve assigned processes.
– Maintain workstation to 5S standards.
– Perform all work according to Company safety standards.

Requirements
– Ability to use common measuring equipment, optical comparators, and coordinate measuring machines (CMM).
– Collaboration and communication skills related to continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.
– Experience with reading blueprints to GD&T standards.
– Basic computer skills.
– Ability to perform basic shop math functions.
– Ability to read and write.
– Eligibility to work with sensitive controlled data and materials according to customer policies and practices.
– Must be able to regularly lift up to 10 pounds. Occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
– Must be able to stand for long periods of time in manufacturing environment. Twist, kneel, bend.
