Overview

Position Overview:

·        Help build and commission new systems in house.

·        Troubleshoot and repair legacy equipment at customer’s facilities.

·        Perform preventative planned maintenance task work and document at customer’s facilities based on HMS standards

·        Telephone response on new and legacy equipment.

·        Assist with installs throughout North America.

·        Train Customer’s Personnel on the HMS equipment from an Electrical and Operators Perspective.

 

Required Skills:

·        Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics for installations and troubleshooting.

·        Ability to Install and troubleshoot Industrial Electrical circuits; from high voltage three phase down to low voltage circuits

·        Have and be able to use common electrical tools and measuring devices.

·        Be able to work in a team environment.

·        Be able to travel throughout North America.

·        Able to understand and follow current NEC code concerning Industrial and Commercial Environments.

·        Ability to work overtime and weekends to meet customers’ needs when necessary.

 

Tangibles:

·        Ability to get online with PLCs and able to read and troubleshoot ladder logic.

·        Able to use Microsoft applications on the computer.

 

Qualifications:

·        High school diploma required; Associate’s Degree in an Industrial category or Technical degree preferred.

·        Ability to obtain a passport.

·        Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.

·        Have a valid driver’s license.

·        Have worked under an Electrical Journeyman’s or Facilities License.

·        Have worked in either a Maintenance or Engineering capacity within an industrial environment for a minimum of 3 years.

 

Pay Rate:     $25.00 – $35.00

·        Based on the candidate’s skill set and years in the Field repair environment.
