Overview

Position Overview: As a Breakfast & Lunch Waiter/Waitress, you will play a vital role in providing a warm and welcoming dining experience to our guests during breakfast hours. Your friendly demeanor, attention to detail, and exceptional customer service skills will contribute to creating a positive start to our guests’ day.

Key Responsibilities:

Guest Service:

·        Greet guests warmly as they arrive and escort them to their tables, ensuring a friendly and inviting atmosphere.

·        Take orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring that special requests and dietary preferences are noted and communicated to the kitchen.

·        Provide recommendations from the breakfast & lunch menu and answer any questions guests may have about dishes or ingredients.

·        Following health code standards with regards to the handling of food

Order Coordination:

·        Liaise with the kitchen staff to ensure that breakfast & lunch orders are prepared accurately and delivered to tables promptly.

·        Maintain clear communication with the kitchen team to manage timing and avoid delays in service.

Table Maintenance:

·        Set up and arrange tables with clean utensils, napkins, condiments, and other necessary items before guests arrive.

·        Continuously monitor tables during service, promptly clearing used dishes and utensils to maintain a clean and organized dining area.

Menu Knowledge:

·        Develop a deep understanding of the breakfast & lunch menu, including ingredients, preparation methods, and portion sizes, to assist guests in making informed choices.

Upselling and Specials:

·        Promote daily specials, seasonal items, and beverages to enhance the guest experience and increase sales.

·        Effectively use suggestive selling techniques to encourage guests to try additional items.

Customer Interaction:

·        Engage with guests in a friendly and attentive manner, ensuring their needs are met throughout their dining experience.

·        Address any guest concerns or complaints professionally and promptly, seeking solutions to ensure their satisfaction.
